Project management directorate
Key projects and activities:
- Projects related to attestation of essential equipment, technologies and materials;
- Negotiations of key contractual points including task orders, work scope and content with company’s clients;
- Development of specifications for equipment attestation and other technical regulations for FGC UES;
- Expert review of technical documentation and regulations;
- Development and maintenance of database for attestation of essential equipment, technologies and materials;
- Expert review of project activities’ compliance with effective requirements and standards;
- Review of project activities and development of recommendations for the subsequent product use;
- Participation in accident investigation and independent reviews;
- Establishment and maintenance of depositaries for attestation of equipment, technologies and materials;
- Coordination of development of industry regulations (design norms, specifications, national standards, technical regulations);
- Dissemination of technical documentation on multifaceted steel columns.
Project management center for the high-voltage lines and substations
Core activities of the center include attestation services for the following equipment:
- alternating current switches rated at 3 to 750 kV;
- high-voltage bushings;
- insulators;
- cabling;
- unilateral maintenance switchgears (UMS);
- integrated unpressurized metal-clad switchgears rated for 6 through 35 volt;
- SF-6 gas insulated integrated switchgears;
- integrated transformer substations;
- overhead line hardware;
- non-linear excess voltage suppressors for alternating current power units, rated for 3 through 750 kV;
- alternating current disconnecting switches and ground wires rated for over 1 kV voltage;
- reactors and high frequency chokes;
- power transformers;
- current and voltage transformers;
- footings for standard metal columns for high voltage lines etc.
Project management center for information technology and communication systems
The main purpose of the center is to provide attestation services for the information technology and communication systems for FGC UES and MSRK Holding companies, including:
- - protection relays and automation, accident prevention automatics;
- - automated process control system;
- - communication equipment;
- - automated system for energy resources control and metering;
Metrology department
The Metrology Department of RDCPE’s project management directorate is a fully accredited metrological service per the Attestation of Metering Methodologies and Metrological Review of Documentation entered in the Register of Accredited Metrological Services-Legal Entities under # 01.00028-2007. The attestation validity term expires on November 1st, 2012.
In accordance with its accredited competencies, the Metrology department provides the following metrological services:
- - metrological expert review of technical documentation and detailed design for electrical power measurements: specifications, technical requirements, detailed design and engineering documentation for electrical measurement systems; results of certification tests of electric power equipment;
- - development, expert review and attestation of electricity metering methodologies, including those for commercial metering of electricity at wholesale and retail electricity markets; secondary loads on current transformers under operating conditions; voltage transformer loads in operating conditions; voltage losses in power lines connecting meters to the voltage transformers, and electricity quality parameters;
- - amendments of approved metering methodologies; expert review and approval of amendments;
- - development of regulations governing the metrology aspects of metering;
- - development and expert review of electric power loss calculation algorithms in power grid elements where delivery and metering of electricity occur at different points;
- - revisions and labeling of electricity metering facilities; issuance of passports and/or protocols for the metering facilities;
- - consulting services in the area of metrological support of electricity metering.
